Happy Monday Everyone!

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our Thanksgiving lunch

we will have your unit test next Monday.

Hello Parents -

This week we are reading a fable How the Chipmunk Got It's Stripes. We will
focus on characters in this story. Our spelling words are base words with
-s and -es endings. We are continuing our unit study of verbs in language.
Today we started helping verbs. We are learning a "Helping Verb" song.
Your child has a copy of the song in their take home folder. If they can sing
the song for me I will give them 5 points extra credit on our verb test.

In math we are continuing our unit of two-digit addition. Our test on this
unit will be next week.

The bookfair is here! Tomorrow when we go to the library, your child will
be able to shop the bookfair. If you would like to go to the bookfair with
your child, it will be open after school on Thursday from 3:30-6:30. We will
also go to the bookfair for 15 minutes after lunch on Friday.

Please make plans to attend our Thanksgiving lunch on Friday. Our lunch
time is 12:00 on this day. Parents may buy their lunch for $6.60 and
children are $2.55.

Friday progress reports will come home.
