Happy Monday Everyone!
The big news this week is Warrior Walk! Your sponsor packet came home in your child's take home folder last Friday. If for some reason you can't locate it and need another one, just let me know. Thank you for taking the time to ask for sponsors/donors. I hope that you will be able to come out on Friday to cheer our class on. We walk from 1:15-1:45. Our color this year is gray. So wear as much gray as possible.

Hello Parents -
There was a mistake in the in the yearbook in Mrs. Swinger's class. They have printed stickers to be applied with the correction. Please reply to this email if you bought a yearbook and I will place the sticker in the folder with your child's report card.
Also, we cleaned out our desks and cubbies today. I am also sending Wednesday folders home today. Nothing needs to be returned tomorrow. The only thing your child needs to bring tomorrow is their lunch and electronic game. They can bring their empty backpack to carry everything, of course.
One more day until you have a third grader .😉
Have a wonderful night!

Hello Parents!
We had so much fun yesterday at field day! Thank you for everyone who came to have fun with us!
This week are finishing our novel study on Stone Fox. This is a fabulous book and the kiddos are really into it! Our spelling words have the long o and long e spelling patterns using -oa, -ow, -ee, and -ea.
Because field day was changed from Friday to Monday, we completed our math unit 8 pre-test (review) on Friday and went over it in class. I am sending these home with the kids today. I have asked them to make any corrections to help prepare them for the unit 8 test tomorrow. The test will be just like the pre-test.
All library books are due tomorrow. Please help your child remember to bring them.
We are missing a couple of Social Studies books from the classroom. Please check at home to see if any are hiding!
Have a wonderful week!
Mrs. Kane
