Happy Monday!
I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! I could tell
your children missed each other while they were apart!
This week we are reading Teacher's Pet. We are learning
about story structure: characters, setting, plot. In language
we will focus on proper nouns. We will not have a spelling
test this week. In math we are beginning Unit 2 - working
with three-digit numbers and skip counting.
There is no homework assigned this week. However, I would
encourage you to read with your child every day to foster
a love of reading.
Progress reports will come home tomorrow. Please sign
one copy and send it back to school in the envelope
with your child.

I admire the desire of the teacher to cooperate with the parents with the help of blog. This is really a great way to use technologies for the sake of learning.
