Happy Monday!

This week we will be doing a lot of writing!  We are writing opinion paragraphs where we must state our opinion and give reasons to support our opinion.  We are also writing our papers for our biography projects.  As a reminder, the people posters are the optional part of this project that are done at home. We will practice understanding characters when we read We Love You Mr. Hatch.

Our spelling pattern this week is compound words and our test will be on Thursday this week.

In math we are learning about 3 dimensional shapes. While in science we are investigating weathering and erosion.

This Friday we will have spring individual pictures and class pictures taken.  If you want to order a class picture you must prepay for it by Friday.  Individual pictures will be ordered from proofs.

Money and reservations are due this Friday if you are going to attend the POW WOW dinner and auction on Friday, March 1st.  Please make plans to come to the POW WOW Festival on Saturday, February 23 11:00-3:00.  There are lots of new games this year!

Thursday is Valentine's Day💗💗Please bring your shoe box and valentines on Thursday!
