Hello Parents!

 

What a beautiful day for the first day of Fall!

 

This week our reading material comes from our science book. We are starting our unit

on animals. Our reading focus will be on facts and opinions and text features.

The spelling words this week are consonant blends with letters r, l, and s, and we are

continuing our unit on nouns.

 

We will wrap Topic 3 Subtraction Strategies this week with a test on Wednesday.

The math study guide is coming home tonight and is due on Wednesday. 

 

All picture orders must be turned in by Wednesday, September 24 or you will be charged

a late fee. There will be a re-take/make up day for pictures in October.

 

Homework:

Monday: Read 20 minutes and write 3 sentences, math study guide due Wednesday

Tuesday: Read 20 minutes and write 3 sentences, math study guide due tomorrow

Wednesday: Wed. folders and read for 15 minutes

Thursday: Read this week's reading (science book pages A30-49)
