Happy Monday Everyone!
We thoroughly enjoyed being outside for recess today! I hope
you were able to enjoy it some as well. Just as a reminder,
there is no school tomorrow since it is an election day.
This week we are reading Poppleton in Winter and will look at
cause and effect. Our spelling pattern this week is words with -or
and -ore, and in language we have started our unit on adverbs.
In math, we continue to work on understanding place value
and are using it to help us count money.
Make sure to mark your calendars to attend ILE's Pow Wow
on Saturday, March 12 from 11-3. It is always a fun time!
You should be receiving an email soon about volunteering
to work our booth on that day.
Homework:
Monday - Read, write sentences, math
Tuesday - Read, write sentences
Wednesday - Wed. folders
Thursday - Read, write sentences, math,
study spelling words

Dear Amy, thanks for another great post. I surely enjoyed the sun too. I admire your way of leading a blog that provides all the necessary information that is useful to the students and their parents as well. I wonder if you , as a talented and experienced teacher could give me some advice on using the Internet at a class, to find essay online help for example. Anyway, I will be looking forward to your nest post and your next impression after a working day at school.
